When traveling through Australia either on holidays, retirement or for business, we would like to be able to view television. Some of us just like to keep in touch with the world and watch the latest news, others would like their TV to provide a total entertainment package. Either way once we're away from the major centres, television reception away from terrestrial sources become troublesome at best, impossible for most. Satellite TV is the answer to viewing television throughout Australia no matter where you are (providing you have clear line of sight). If you are currently viewing satellite Pay TV at home it is now possible to take your Pay TV on the road. The following 3 systems are available.
 Manual System - Manual systems are great for people who don't mind
learning about how to set up a satellite antenna (this will take some
effort and time). It is ideal for those who travel to a holiday
location, set up for some time then return home or move to the next
location for some time. These systems are great for campervan, pop-top
caravan, small caravans and 4x4 campers. The system is cost effective
and can be obtained as a complete kit from AnSat Solutions. We
recommend that you use an 85cm dish if you travel throughout Australia,
but if space is an issue a 65cm dish will be sufficient when travelling
up and down the east coast of Australia. Full installation details are

 Full Auto System - Full Auto Systems are great for those who travel to
many locations for short periods of time or those who just don't want
to bother with fiddly set-up of a satellite dish. Many travellers start
with a manual system and progress to a full auto system at a later stage
(usually when fed up with a manual system). The beauty of the auto
system is that you just pull up to stop, turn on the TV and the
satellite dish will locate the satellite fully automatically, and
you'll be watching your favourate programs within minutes. These
systems are installed mainly into larger caravans, mobile homes and
fifth wheeler's.
 Satellite On The Move - Satellite On The Move takes the full auto
system to the next level. It allows the satellite antenna to track the
satellite when moving. It can be used for speeds up to 350km/hr. The
system is great for motor-homes, marine and house boat applications, interstate (long
distance) coach and train services. Because the unit is used on the
move a regular Satellite dish cannot be used, instead a high tech
satellite phased array dome antenna is used. The system available at
the moment, is only available for use along the east coast of Australia because
of the size availability. This system is of particular interest to
interstate coach operators allowing movie channels and or news to be
shown on-board. It is a great tool to value add in a highly
competitive market. |
